So, I'm catching up again...here are lots of new photos from our past week. Spring is coming and we are loving enjoying the outdoors, while still doing lots of fun activities inside! Life is great!
Last weekend, we walked down to breakfast to meet our friends, and on the way back Madison had a blast running down the sidewalks and screaming (in happiness)!

Riding her pink cow with helmet and all! We bought this helmet for Madison a few months ago so that she could wear in it the bike trailer, but I'm not sure she is ready for it! While it fits inside (because its adjustable), the helmet is three times the size of her head! Also, it pushes her head too far forward when she has it on in the bike trailer...oh well, it will still be good when she's a little older.
The other morning, Madison loved playing in this empty laundry basket and I was able to snap a few cute photos.

On Thursday we went to the Lafayette Children's Museum with our friends Amanda and Elliot. The kids had a great time playing with all the different toys and activities. Madison thought thee puzzles were cool and liked making all the animal sounds. **All of these museum photos were taken with my phone camera, so they are not as good of quality as our real camera, but you gt the idea even though they are a little blurry**
They have a large sandbox and of course Madison found it! She loves playing with the sand and had fun using the shovel to scrap away the sand from the bench.
Madison thought it was so cool to watch the sand go through her fingers!!
At the museum, they have these chairs that go up and down on a pulley and Madison tried it twice buit seemed a little unsure. She was buckled in, so I knew she wasn't going anywhere, but she is not the biggest fan of heights!
They also have this huge pirate ship and Madison had fun helping another little girl "drive" the ship

Inside the music room, they have an area that where you can see rainbow lights (hence the pink lighting), and these xylophones happened to be in there, so Madison sat down to play them :)

Madison found this conductor hat in the train station and loved wearing it!

On Friday we went to the zoo again! Our friends Susan and Daniel joined us and we had a great day! Madison loves the giraffes and thought it was funny when they started chasing the geese.

Mommy and Madison...Madison was a little scared of the carrousel, again because of the horse going up so high...we really do think she is scared of heights!

After the zoo, while Madison was napping, Ellie and I enjoyed the amazing 70 degree weather! We both laid in the grass, but Ellie preferred the shade :)
On Saturday morning, we continued our family tradition of going to the Denver Auto Show. This is Madison's 2nd time and she really had fun driving all the cars. Matt of course is a big car guy, and I think its fun to see all the new cars!

Driving the big GMC Denali...her favorite thing is to say "beep beep" while she's driving or attempting to push the horn...luckily the people at the car show are smart enough to diable the horns ;)

At the Saab station they had they had this neat retro floor and Madison was fascinated by it! She kept trying to put her fingers through the floor and into the holes.
Jeep had an off road course, and you could ride with a Jeep employee to ride the course. One part of the course was this 45 degree up and down climb...CRAZY!!! It doesn't look that steep from the photos, but HOLY COW!! I would never do that! Matt's comment though was, "Oh, I've gone steeper than that in my car while off roading!" (and I bet that's true...he has no fear!)
